Farm2Home is a digital platform developed to protect farmers from exploitation by middlemen and to ensure toxic-free organic produce for consumers. By directly connecting farmers and common people, this web application aims to create a sustainable agricultural market. ​The operational method of this project is simple yet innovative. Farmers list their harvested vegetables and fruits along with their prices on the platform. Consumers can then discover nearby farmers and available products through the app. To assist farmers in their cultivation, the system includes an AI-powered 'Plant Doctor'. This allows farmers to scan and identify crop diseases and understand the organic remedies required for them. ​The most significant feature of this initiative is its 'Barter System'. This system provides an opportunity for consumers to provide their household organic waste to farmers as fertilizer. In exchange for providing waste, consumers receive special discounts on the products they purchase. This helps farmers obtain low-cost fertilizer and assists in solving the waste management issues in households. Furthermore, the project takes the lead in economically empowering women’s farming collectives by giving them higher priority.
